The third line Rodrigo Bruni was presented in Vannes of the ProD2 this Wednesday, after his good performance with Los Pumas in the Tres Naciones and the subsequent break in Argentina.
The eighth signed for the remainder of the 2020/21 season, with an option for one more year. With both the Jaguares and Los Pumas, Rodrigo Bruni has shown a high level. “It is an incredible opportunity and a source of pride to welcome such a player to the club. I want to thank Esteban Devich, former Argentine pillar of the RCV, for facilitating the exchange to convince Rodrigo,” commented Vannes Sports Manager Jean-Noël Spitzer, weeks ago when he announced his hire.
Bruni played two seasons in Jaguares: there were 15 matches and three tries for the tandilense. His good performances in the Argentine franchise led him to Los Pumas, where he played the 2019 World Cup and the recent Three Nations.
Vannes is fighting for promotion to the Top 14 and is currently second, one point behind Perpignan.
