Good news for Galthié, Alldritt would return to France

Gregory Alldritt could still appear in the first game of Six nations wearing the shirt of France. After showing a great level in his last match with La Rochelle (scored two tries against Bayonne), the third row quickly recovers from the discomfort they had in their knee and may be eligible for Fabien Galthié facing the debut before Italy of February 6 in the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

The forward was a key member of the French team since he made his debut during the Six nations of 2019 against Welsh And, although he was initially ruled out for the first game of the competition that will start 10 days since he had chosen to undergo an operation before joining the national team after having suffered knee pain in recent weeks, the same head coach was in charge to publicize the probability of their incorporation to the campus.

It’s more, Galthié revealed that he could join this “Sunday or Monday, if all goes well.” The return of Alldritt the team would be a huge boost, after the casualties of Romain Ntamack and Virimi Vakatawa.

“On Monday I will do a study, usually it will take a few days to heal because it is important to join the national team 100 percent,” he said. Alldritt to Canal + and added: “It shouldn’t be too long. It was not an easy decision to make. I will take the exams, work hard and be ready if the Staff needs me again.”
