Cabal and Farah failed to advance in Australia

Juan Sebastian Cabal Y Robert Farah, the Colombian duo that was contesting the Australian Open, failed to beat the Kazakh pair of Aleksandr Bublik and Andrei Golubev, which took the meeting for 6-4 and 6-4.

On court 8 in Melbourne, the South American pair was outmatched by the European in both sets that were played. The Kazakhs had the serve as one of their strengths, with which they achieved five aces throughout the game. They were also very effective when it came to breaking the serve of their rivals, achieving it three times against one of the Colombians.

With this victory, Bublik and Golubev made it into the third round of the Australian Open while Cabal and Farah they said goodbye in the same round as last year, when they couldn’t beat the Bryan brothers.
