Deontay Wilder accept that you would like to fight with Anthony Joshua and with Andy Ruiz on his return to boxing, since he has not fought since February 2020 when he was defeated in the rematch against Tyson fury.
“Yes,” he replied Wilder in interview with Marcus watson in Instagram, when asked if he would like to fight with Joshua and with Andy Ruiz. “Any fighter who is at the top, and who they have not seen me fight against, those are the fighters I want to be seen the most.”
Wilder he says he wants to clean up the heavyweight division, and that he is not finished in boxing as has been said.
“I can sit here and give you names all day, that’s the easiest thing,” he said. Wilder. “I just want to go to the top, and if it’s someone I haven’t fought against, that’s what I want to fight with. I want to clean up the division. People think that I have already left or that I stopped boxing, and it is not true.
Wilder he is emphatic in that he has a fighter in mind.
“If you name the obvious fighter, everyone knows (Fury)”, He said Wilder. “I would like to fight boxers that I have not fought with. I know it’s a bit annoying not to give you more names, but any of the best that I haven’t faced.
It is not the first time that Wilder asks Andy Ruiz as a rival
Already before, last November, Deontay Wilder he had released a list of opponents he would like to fight on his return to boxing. And there he also named Andy Ruiz.
“Dillian whyte would be on the list, “he said Wilder in interview for the podcast Last Stand with Brian Custer. “Andy Ruiz would be one on the list when I return, same as Robert Helenius. You have a Joseph Parker, you have a Oleksandr Usyk“.
