The Italian team of Benetton Treviso announced that the Argentine pillar, Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro signed a contract until 2024.
The first line of Los Pumas, currently in Bristol Bears, will join Benetton from next season, that is, June 2021. It will remain there, according to the signed contract, until June 2024.
Benetton’s Head Coach stated: “When Riccioni informed us during the negotiation phase in October that he wanted to leave, our market research began to replace an important element for us. We wanted an international profile, of experience, capable of ensuring consistency and continuity; Nahuel fully reflects this identikit and also knows how to play the role of right and left pillar in the same way. Finally, his extensive experience will be very useful in the formation of the youngest pillars of the team “
For his part, Tetaz Chaparro expressed his joy in joining Benetton: “I was very happy when I learned of the interest in Benetton Rugby. I am very motivated, it is a great challenge for me and my family. Benetton Rugby is an excellent club with which I will be able to continue improving as a player, and I am already in contact with some Argentine boys who currently play in green and white and they have all spoken well of both the club and the city. I want to adapt as soon as possible, to be available for the team. I want to play as much as I can and help Treviso to be as high as possible in the rankings. “
The pillar born in General Madariaga will share a roster with two other first Argentine lines, Thomas Gallo and Iván Nemer.
