(EFE) – Roma, supported by the success of the Spanish Borja Mayoral and the Bosnian Edin Dzeko, put their way into the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League on track after beating Braga (0-2) in Portugal, in the first leg of the round of 32.
The Balkan opened the scoring in the fifth minute after taking advantage of a pass from Leonardo Spinazzola.
The Spanish attacker made good use of his minutes. He started on the bench, like Gonzalo Villar who entered the second half for the Brazilian Ibanez.
Mayoral jumped onto the field later, in 70, for Dzeko, and a quarter of an hour later he took advantage of the ball received by Jordan Veretour to beat the Brazilian goalkeeper Matheus.
The Portuguese team played from minute 54 with ten players due to the expulsion of Ricardo Esgaio. Goalkeeper Pau López and Pedro Rodríguez started as starters.
