Miguel “Alacrán” Berchelt Y Oscar Valdez passed the weigh-in without problems in the face of their fight, in the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, this Saturday, February 20, for the super featherweight title of CMB.
At the weigh-in, Oscar Valdez marked the exact limit of 130 pounds, while Berchelt stopped the scale at the same weight.

They were both in great physical condition and had no problem scoring the 130-pound championship weight.
After they met the weight, the two performed the traditional face to face as the photograph sporting the physique for this contest, although a considerable distance as part of the measures taken by COVID-19.
“I felt great, I’m ready, ready for a war this Saturday,” he shared. Berchelt in interview with ESPN. “I don’t know how much I am going to bounce (in weight), but enough for the victory. I don’t feel like a favorite, I’m going to make my job look, my preparation with my coach Jose Alfredo Caballero”.
“My mind, I am 100% prepared for this,” he replied. Valdez for ESPN. “I can’t wait to win the title. I have been tested, I have fought with a broken rib, with the jawbone and I always came out ahead ”.
Berchelt won his last fight a little over a year and a half ago when in November 2019 he knocked out Jason Anthony Sosa at Dignity Health Sports Park of Carson, California.
For its part, Oscar Valdez comes after a pair of featherweight knockout wins at Las Vegas. The first against Adam Lopez in November 2019 and the second against the Puerto Rican Jayson Velez in July 2020.
