(EFE) – A great action by Spaniard Adama Traoré gave Wolverhampton a 1-0 victory over Leeds United by Argentine Marcelo Bielsa, in the opening clash of the twenty-fifth day of the Premier that dominates Manchester City.
The Spanish international unbalanced the match played at the Molineaux Stadium that reaffirmed the improvement of the ‘wolves’ and penalized the visitors, who came to score with twelve minutes remaining but the VAR invalidated Patrick Bamford’s goal.
It was past game hour when a great individual play by Traore ended with a powerful shot that crashed into the first post and into the back of French goalkeeper Illan Meslier to enter the goal.
Leeds looked for a reaction, but goalkeeper Rui Patricio prevented Bielsa’s team from scoring and thus avoided their second defeat in a row.
Wolverhampton, who have three wins and a draw in their last four games, settle in the middle of the standings.
