The cowboy will make his first defense of the championship OMB, after winning it on October 9, 2020 to Ruben Villa by unanimous decision, in the bubble of MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
For its part, Diaz comes from two consecutive victories in 2020. The first in January 2020 against Adeilson Dos Santos and the other in June before Jason Sanchez, both by unanimous decision.
In the co-star fight, Edgar berlanga will face Demond Nicholson.
Berlanga fought three times during 2020, winning all of them by knockout: first in July against Eric Moon, then in October before Lanel Bellos and finally in December against Ulises Sierra.
Edgar returns to action in search of continuing to transcend in the super middle division and will do so against Nicholson, who comes from five consecutive victories, three by knockout.
