France without positive Covid cases on Tuesday

France’s chances of avoiding a postponement of its Six Nations clash with Scotland in Paris Sunday have improved after the latest round of coronavirus tests failed to show any more positives.

An outbreak among the team of tournament favorites has produced 10 cases of Covid-19, including star scrum half and 2020 Championship player Antoine Dupont and captain Charles Ollivon.

The organizers of the Six Nations will decide on Wednesday whether the duel at the Stade de France can be played, but the results of the tests on Monday night point to a relief from the crisis.

France top the table after two games, in which they won a wide victory over Italy and a narrow victory against Ireland, both on the road.
