Juan Manuel Cerúndolo and Albert Ramos-Viñolas will meet in the final of the ATP 250 in Córdoba in what will be an excellent match as they will meet a debuting tennis player and one who played eight finals in his entire career. The meeting can be enjoyed live from 7:00 p.m. on Fox Sports 2.
The Argentine made his debut in a main draw at the ATP level in this tournament and in his first experience he is already in the defining match where he will have to face the Spanish who has just eliminated four Argentines.
Juan Manuel’s path was very complicated as he had to contest the classification and win it to be able to be in the main draw. Then he surpassed Thiago Seyboth Wild, Miomir Kecmanovic, Thiago Monteiro and Federico Coria in a highly contested semifinal.
On the Spanish side, he always faced Argentines since he had to see faces with Juan Ignacio Londero, Tomás Etcheverry, Diego Schwartzman, top favorite to win the title, and Facundo Bagnis.
It should be remembered that Ramos already has two titles on his record: Bastad 2016 and Gstaad 2019. While he also played in the finals of Casablanca 2012, Chengdu 2016, San Pablo and Monte-Carlo 2017, Quito 2018 and Kitzbuhel 2019.
