Javier Pinola suffered a fracture of his right forearm, during the game that River beat Platense 1-0 for the La Liga Cup.
The defender fell with all his weight on his arm and his cries of pain gave account of the severity of the injury.
Pinola had to leave the field of play with assistance and withdrew from the stadium to carry out the pertinent studies. Minutes later, River published on its social networks the medical part of the scoreboard, along with that of Rafael Santos Borré. For his part, the Colombian left after 10 minutes due to an annoyance that he had dragged on since Saturday’s training on the iliac crest.
