The Pumas continue at a firm pace in the Seven in Madrid and they achieved three clear victories against Spain, then against Portugal and finally over Chile. The matches correspond to the second stage of Madrid Rugby 7’s International Tournament. Organized by the Spanish Rugby Federation, with the help of the Madrid City Council and the Community of Madrid, in addition to the sponsorship of World Rugby. The Pumas won the tournament last week and are looking for the crown again.

ARGENTINA 28-0 UNITED STATES (Fourth game)
With a great job on the defensive side of the court, Los Pumas 7s left with the ingoal undefeated against the US team. Santiago Álvarez was the one who opened the account, followed by Etchart, Isgro and Moneta to close a great participation against the North American team.

ARGENTINA 31-5 CHILE (Third match)
Marcos Moneta opened the Pumas 7’s win against Chile in the third and last game of the first day on a new weekend at the Seven in Madrid. Later and with outstanding defensive work, those led by Santiago Gómez Cora also added conquests by the hand of Germán Schulz, Rodrigo Etchart, Rodrigo Isgro and, again, Moneta.
ARGENTINA 21-0 PORTUGAL (Second match)
Another great production from the team led by Santiago Gómez Cora who asserted superiority over a Portuguese team that suffered each Albiceleste attack. In the first half, a good break by Rodrigo Etchart and a good run by Germán Schulz in the last meters were enough to make the difference of 14 with the two conversions of Lautaro Bazán Vélez who withdrew injured in the second half. Marcos Moneta rounded the score, which Gastón Revol transformed into 7 points.
ARGENTINA 35-7 SPAIN (First match)
With tries from Moneta, Osadczuk, Etchart, Isgro and De la Vega, Los Pumas 7’s made a good difference in the first half that allowed them to go 21-0 up at the break. Spain discounted at the start of the complement, but immediately the reaction came to re-adjust the score and start the second week of competition with a victory.
