The scrum half of New Zealand, Aaron smith extended its link with the local union, Highlanders and the All blacks and will continue his career there until 2023.
Smith, 32, played his 151st game for the Highlanders at the weekend and is the All Black scrum-half with the most caps of all time (97 Tests). He made his provincial debut with Manawatu in 2008, debut in Super Rugby in 2011 and debut in Test a year later, he has been the scrum half of both teams since then, and remains at a high level.
