Santiago Morning debuted this Friday in the 2020 Copa Libertadores Femenina with a one-goal draw against Boca Juniors, in the commitment corresponding to Group B of the competition played at the José Amalfitani Stadium in Buenos Aires.
Those directed by Paula Navarro dispute this contest thanks to the title they obtained in the 2019 Women’s Championship, while the Xeneizes entered the tournament for being the winning team of the first stage of the Argentine Championship 2019-2020.
Both conquests of the struggle came in the complementary stage. The Blue and Gold team began winning in the 56th minute through Florencia Quiñones, who captured a ball in the small area that was released to goalkeeper Ryann Torrero, after a corner kick from the left.
