Argentine striker Adolfo Gaich, who started for the first time with Benevento, scored his first goal in Serie A on Saturday in a 1-1 draw against Spezia, in the match that opened the program for matchday 26.
Gaich, incorporated by Benevento on loan from CSKA Moscow in the last winter market, broke the equality in the 24th minute with a good personal move, in which he dribbled over Matteo Ricci and beat the goal with a left-footed shot.
The 22-year-old Argentine forward only needed 62 minutes on the pitch to celebrate his first goal in the Italian league, after playing 21 minutes against Napoli and 17 against Hellas Verona.
His match ended in 59, when he was replaced by Gabriele Moncini, and Benevento received Spezia’s equalizer, signed by Daniele Verde, twenty minutes from the end.
With this point, Benevento moved their classification after two consecutive defeats and placed fifteenth, with 26 points and momentarily six on the margin of the relegation zone.
Gaich, who works under coach Filippo Inzaghi, European and World champion striker in his playing career, arrived at Benevento on loan with a definitive purchase option in favor of the Italian club.
