London (EFE) – A double by Gareth Bale and another by Harry Kane boosted Tottenham Hotspur’s victory against Crystal Palace (4-1) and puts José Mourinho’s men in the fight for European positions.
To the great performance of the Welshman we must add the great game of Harry Kane, who gave the two assists to Bale, made a goal for the squad to send the match to sleep and finished the task with 4-1.
Tottenham returned, as against Fulham last day, to get ahead early. Lucas Moura, a starter to the detriment of Dele Alli, stole a ball in three quarters, gave it to Kane and Kane hit a death pass for Bale to push it on the goal line.
Mourinho’s men again granted opportunities and Palace tied in the first half discount with a header from Benteke.
The ‘Spurs’ did not collapse and swept in the second half. Bale started the play of the second, handed it to Reguilón on the left flank and he put a cross to the far post that Kane adjusted with his head for Bale to make his double.
Kane’s great game in assists would complete it with two goals. First a right hand from outside the area to the squad, and later after a great combination in which Heung-min Son left him on goal without a goalkeeper.
Tottenham climb to sixth position, ahead of Liverpool, which this Sunday lost against Fulham. Mourinho’s men are two points behind the Champions League, while Palace is thirteenth with 34 points.
