With a Johnny Sexton penalty, Ireland defeated Scotland 27-24 at Murrayfield

In Murrayfield, Edinburgh, Ireland prevailed against Scotland after a locked match that was matched to the end. Thus, the Clover was second in the standings although France has one less game.

The first half in Scottish lands began in favor of Ireland, who with a Henshaw try went up quickly. Then, through Finn Russell, the local managed to turn it around. Despite that, Clover went up at halftime after three penalties from Jonny Sexton.

The 10 was also the protagonist in the complement, and hero of the match. Ireland seemed to have things under control after Bernie’s try and another opening penalty. But Scotland did not lower the intensity and managed to reach equality after two tries at the hands of Huw Jones and Hamish Watson.

With three minutes to go, Jonny Sexton gave the victory to Ireland. After the referee Romain Poite sentenced an infraction in favor of the visit, the Irish 10 did not miss and sealed the final 27-24.
