The newly promoted Sarmiento de Junín had bad news. The club reported that goalkeeper Manuel Vicentini and coach Mario Sciacqua tested positive for Covid-19. Therefore, this Wednesday’s practice was suspended and on Thursday they will swab the entire First Division squad.
The cases of Vicentini and Sciacqua join that of the utility worker Osvaldo Cisneros, who had already contracted the disease. On Thursday all the equipment will be swabbed to see if there are more infected personnel.
The practice of Green It was scheduled for 4:00 p.m., but the minutes passed and no member of the squad or the coaching staff or the assistants appeared at the Sports City. Finally the answer came and it had to do with the confirmed cases of coronavirus that forced the suspension.
