Rebels achieved a historic victory against Waratahs

On Friday, date 5 of Super Rugby Australia began with a historic victory for Melbourne Rebels that achieved the greatest difference in the history against this rival. Lucio Sordoni entered the complement, but was injured two minutes from the end, after a knee injury.

REBELS 33-14 WARATAHS (Friday)
Rebels edged a lackluster Waratahs 33-14 at home for the fifth round of Super Rugby Australia. The great figure on the court was Matt To’omua who managed to convert a try, two conversions and three penalties. Lachie Anderson and Jordan Uelese converted for Melbourne, while Jeremy Williams and Jack Maddocks for the visitor. Lucio Sordoni entered the second half 16 minutes but with two to go he had to be replaced due to an injury to his right knee.
