London (EFE) – It smelled of tragedy for Arsenal, but Mikel Arteta’s men equalized 3-0 against and got a point in their visit to West Ham at the Olympic stadium in London (3-3).
The ‘Gunners’ fell 3-0 after 30 minutes, but managed to equalize and not go empty in their match against the Hammers.
And that the game got very bad for them, when in two minutes Jesse Lingard hooked a right hand from the edge and later caught the Arsenal defense off guard to quickly take a free-kick and assist Jarrod Bowen, who took a shot at the first stick that Bernd Leno swallowed.
Tomas Soucek finished off the start of the game, deflecting a header from Michail Antonio and making it 3-0 in the 30th minute.
Arsenal did not lower their arms and took a breath with Soucek’s own goal before the break. Craig Dawson also scored an own goal after passing through the locker room and it was Alexandre Lacazette who culminated the comeback, 3-3, which is not much use to Arteta’s men either.
The Gunner team remains ninth, with 42 points, seven of the European places, while West Ham loses the lead in the fight for the Champions League and is fifth with 49, two behind Chelsea, which is fourth.
