Rosario Central and Central Córdoba from Santiago del Estero tied in two for the seventh round of the Professional League Cup. The goals were scored by Marco Ruben and Damián Martínez for the local, and Leonardo Sequeira and Milton Giménez for the visitor.
In the first half, the locals took the lead with Marco Ruben’s goal from twelve steps at 45 minutes and they went into halftime.
In the second half, Sequeira scored 1-1 in the 52nd minute after a great counter blow. But the locals took the lead again thanks to Martinez’s goal in the 63rd minute. When it seemed that Canalla kept the three points, Giménez appeared at 96 to stamp the agonizing tie at two.
This result allows those of Coleoni to reach the Banfield line in second place in Zone 1, while those led by Kily González reached nine units.
On the next date, Rosario Central will visit San Lorenzo in the New Gasometer and Central Córdoba will be local to Platense.
