Korda, the promise that shakes Miami and goes for Schwartzman

Sebastian korda is daydreaming. After his surprising victory before one of the sensations of the season Aslan Karatsev by 6-3 and 6-0, the American jewel will face with Diego schwartzman for a place in the Miami Masters 1000 quarterfinals in what will be the first confrontation between both.

The 20-year-old will dispute for the first time the round of 16 of a tournament of this caliber. The son of the legendary Petr Korda, who became number two in the world and beat Marcelo Ríos in the final of the Australian Open in 1998, currently occupies the 87th place in the ranking. However, thanks to his triumph over Karatsev, he will rise, at least, to the 76th position.

This season, Korda, whose coaching staff is part André Agassi, he managed to reach his first final of an ATP tournament, beating, among others, players of the stature of John isner. It was in Delray beach and fell in straight sets to Pole Hubert Hurkacz.
