Toulouse took home victory against Munster and collide with Clermont. Exeter clearly beat Lyon and it will be measured with Leinster. On Sunday they will close the phase: Racing 92 against Edinburgh, Bordeaux against Bristol and Scarlets against Sale Sharks.
The Championship Cup started on Friday with the victory of La Rochelle of Facundo Bosch by 27 to 16 at Gloucester by Santiago Carreras, Matías Alemanno and Santiago Socino. While Leinster went on the fast track following a Covid-19 case in Toulon.
EXETER 47–25 LYON (Saturday)
The current champions are still in the competition and had no major problems to beat the French. There were 7 tries: Jonny Hill opened the account with 2 wins and followed by Tom O’Flaherty, Ollie Devoto, Dave Ewers, Olly Woodburn and a penalty try. Joe Simmonds added 4 conversions and Harvey Skinner another one. In the French, Francisco Gómez Kodela started and Baptiste Coilloud, Xavier Mignot and Dylan Cretin reached the Ingoal for his team. Jonathan Wisniewski hit 2 conversions and 2 penalties. They saw the yellow Vivien Devisme and Xavier Chiocce
MUNSTER 33-40 TOULOUSE (Saturday)
Toulouse intervened in the Munster territory for almost half of the first half. He always kept possession of the ball, generated penalties that Romain Ntamack knew how to take advantage of two of the three kicks.
