(EFE) – Argentine Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United defeated Sheffield United, bottom of the Premier League, on Saturday to settle comfortably in the middle of the table (2-1).
The team led by Bielsa linked two successive wins and placed tenth, with 42 points, 14 above the relegation zone, virtually ensuring salvation.
The Whites rallied from the international lead with a victory thanks to goals from Jack Harrison and veteran Phil Jagielka at own goal.
The Blades, who do not raise their heads even with the departure of Chris Wilder, came to draw through Ben Osborn, but the joy did not last more than four minutes.
