Atlético Tucumán defeated Sarmiento in Junín for the eighth date of Zone 2 of the League Cup. The goals for the visitor were scored by Javier Toledo and for the local Marcelo Herrera scored, Guillermo Acosta saw the red one in the first half.
In the first half, those led by Mario Sciacqua, took the lead in the 13th minute thanks to a goal from Herrera. The match leaned more in favor of the local, when Acosta was sent off for a tremendous tackle on Facundo Castet.
In the complement, the Dean came out with everything and began to greatly disturb the goal that Vicentini defends. Toledo at 63 minutes managed to equalize the match and apologized for his past in Sarmiento. The forward then signed the double in the 88th minute and declared the final 2-1 with one player less.
This result left Atlético Tucumán with nine points in the ninth position and Sarmiento was left with eight units in eleventh place in the standings.
The Junín team will visit Huracán on the next dates and the Dean will do the same against Vélez in Tucumán.
