By seventh date of the Australian Super Rugby, Brumbies edged Waratahs 26-24 and he continues to be one of the clear candidates to fight for the title. On Saturday the date was completed with the triumph of Reds in view of Rebels.
REBELS 19-44 REDS (Saturday)
Reds took a victory without major problems in their visit to Rebels 44-19. The tries converted for the red team were Taniela Tupou, twice, Hunter Paisami, Fraser McReight, Jock Campbell and Joshua Flook. While on the premises, Frank Lomani, Reece Hodge and Michael Wells managed to score. Reds is the only team in the competition that remains undefeated with six games won, in the same number of games.
WARATAHS 24-26 BRUMBIES (Friday)
Waratahs does not raise his head and fell again, this time against Brumbies 24-22. Those who scored for Canberra were Tom Banks, Tom Wright, Andy Muirhead and Folau Fainga’a. While for those from Sydney it was Harry Johnson-Holmes, Will Harrison and James Ramm. Waratahs had a chance to tie the game on the last play but starter Harrison missed the conversion and declared his team’s sixth straight loss.
