Newell’s and Huracán played an entertaining match at Coloso Marcelo Bielsa and tied in two for the eighth date of Zone 2 of the League Cup.

The local team struck practically from the dressing room with Franco Negri’s goal three minutes into the match. The visitor reacted quickly and at 13 minutes equalized the match through Nicolás Cordero, but the joy lasted until 17 minutes when Jerónimo Cacciabue scored a real goal to establish the 2-1.

In the second half, the Globe raised the level much but could not break the resistance of the Leprosy. At 86 minutes, Cristian Núñez finished with power and scored the final 2-2 at Coloso Marcelo Bielsa.

This result leaves Newell’s with four points and still not knowing what it is to add three points in the League Cup. For its part, Hurricane reached nine units.

On the next date, Lepra will visit Lanús at ‘La Fortaleza, while Globo will receive Sarmiento de Junín at the Tomás A. Ducó.
