The Argentine opening and the Uruguayan eighth were selected as one of the best XV this week by Major League Rugby. Bautista Ezcurra earned the spot thanks to his strong performance in a 41-22 win over the San Diego Legion, while Manuel Diana did the same thanks to his solid defense in the win by the Toronto Arrows against Old Glory DC.
While he scored no points, precise opening kicks were a key contributor to the excellent performance of ATL Rugby in attack. With a total of 14 kicks, the number ten won 446 meters for his team. He also collaborated with six tackles in defense and traveled 77 meters with the ball.
The inclusion within this XV Diana went through her work in defense, which was highlighted after the eighth avoided a try from her rival. The Uruguayan counted nine tackles and participated in eleven rucks. In addition, he added in for the attack of his team traveling 71 meters.
