Finally, Isaiah Thomas has returned to the NBA. After a string of injuries that kept him from center stage for a long time, he debuted in New Orleans Pelicans in the meeting before Atlanta Hawks, after more than a year.
The 32-year-old basketball player made his return wearing jersey number 24, in tribute to Kobe Bryant. His last appearance in the NBA had been on February 3, 2020, when he was a member of the Washington Wizards before being traded to the Clippers.

In that final 2019-2020 season, he averaged 12.2 points and 3.7 assists in 40 games with the Wizards. Then came the coronavirus pandemic and his hip problems made him go under the knife twice. This situation caused them to be relegated in the consideration of franchises. Nevertheless, now he’s back with the Pelicans, with whom he signed a ten-day contract.

HOW WAS ISAIAH THOMAS ‘RECOVERY
During the coronavirus pandemic, the basketball player underwent a hip rejuvenation procedure and spent a long time recovering. However, that process was not easy and several times he doubted whether he would be able to return to the courts. “Obviously, I am human and some days it was more difficult than others to get up and continue working without seeing the light at the end of the tunnel”, he counted. This will mean an opportunity for him to relaunch his career.
