The Boca Juniors Soccer Council thinks of Luís Advíncula, as one of the players to look for to reinforce the position of right back.
According to different media in Argentina, the name of Advíncula is popular with Boca’s leadership and an offensive is very possible in the coming months to sign the player of the Vallecano Ray.
Although the Peruvian side has a contract with Rayo until 2022, the portal Goal He maintains that Advíncula has decided to return to South American football and the Spanish club would not hinder his departure.
What’s more, his departure could have occurred in the past weeks – always according to this medium – since the Peruvian international was offered to Flamengo, Internacional and Gremio, clubs that analyzed the possibility, but ended up discarding it.
The name of Advíncula also rang in Boca a few weeks ago when Eduardo Salvio was injured and FIFA gave the endorsement to ‘Xeneize’ to be able to incorporate a footballer from abroad. Finally, Miguel Ángel Russo’s team decided not to bring anyone.
However, for June the situation would be totally different. Julio Buffarini and Leonardo Jara will not continue in the club after Boca Juniors decided not to renew their contract, so the ‘Xeneize’ is obliged to go to the market to give competition to Nicolás Capaldo, the midfielder who happened to occupy the right-handed side to Russo’s order.
It should be noted that the issue of foreign quotas could influence the signing of Advíncula. With six on the squad and five on the court allowed, the ‘Xeneize’ today has Carlos Zambrano, Jorman Campuzano, Edwin Cardona and Sebastián Villa while Edinson Cavani and Lucas Torreira seem to be the two great targets of the next market. And if that weren’t enough, Jan Hurtado and Sebastián Pérez may return from their loans in June.
