The Copa CONMEBOL Sudamericana held its group stage draw this Friday in Luque.
As of the 2021 edition, the Sudamericana changes its format and for the first time will have a stage by zones, like the Libertadores. The difference is that only the leader of each group will qualify for the round of 16.
The group stage will be played from mid-April to the end of May, where the tournament will have a break for the Copa América. And it will resume in July with the round of 16 -where the third of the Libertadores groups will be added-, fourth in August and semifinals in September. The definition will be on November 6.
