By eighth date of the Australian Super Rugby, Western Force with Tomás Cubelli, Domingo Miotti, Tomás Lezana and Santiago Medrano as the starter turned the result to Rebels by 13-12 that counted on the admission during the complement of Lucio Sordoni. The date was completed with the triumph of Reds on Brumbies 24-22, who thus stretched the difference in the standings.
REDS 24-22 BRUMBIES (Saturday)
The local team was left with a very difficult game against Brumbies 24-22 and remains at a firm pace as one of the candidates to win the title. Throughout the game, the red team was below on the scoreboard but thanks to a penalty converted by James O’Connor three minutes from time gave them the victory. REBELS 15-16 WESTERN FORCE (Friday)
