However, nothing was going to complicate the Brazilian idol. In a video posted by the Formula 1 account, many remembered one of the most important drivers in history.
Senna had a fight with the Williams, led by Alain Prost, his eternal rival, and with Damon Hill. That season was fierce and both Senna and Prost fought for the title very near the end. That race was one of Senna’s most spectacular. The Brazilian was fourth, but far behind Prost. He qualified almost two seconds behind the Frenchman, who was the top candidate for victory. In addition, the rain made his career much more difficult. But Senna was always an expert in the tough conditions.
The Brazilian fully accelerated his McLaren, and marked, according to several experts and analysts, the best first lap in the history of Formula 1. It lasted and Michael Schumacher he passed it, getting fifth. At the exit of the first corner, he returned to fourth place and began to attack. Then he passed one of the Sauber, in heavy British rain.
Later, he had no mercy on Prost and his Williams. Just a couple of laps later, Senna had already made a big difference to her pursuer. Prost would fall to third place, ahead of his partner, Damon Hill. Senna took more than 1 minute, 20 seconds off Hill and even took a lap from Prost, who finished in third place.
