Cruz Hewitt was crowned under 12 champion in Australian clay, which was played in Canberra. Lleyton’s son did not give up a set in his five games and also took the title in doubles alongside Asher Brownrigg.
According to The Guardian, Cruz hits the ball with the same flair as his father, who was No. 1 in the world for 80 weeks, as well as being the US Open and Wimbledon champion.
“So proud to take home the national brick dust title. Had a great week in Canberra #claydog,” Cruz posted on his Instagram account.
