Parma dawns with its new ATP tournament in the previous Roland Garros

The ATP added a category 250 clay-court tournament for the end of May following a week-long delay until the start of Roland Garros. It is Parma, in northern Italy, which will host a vital event in preparation for the second Grand Slam of the year.

The Emilia-Romagna Open will take place from Saturday May 22 to Saturday May 29 at the President Tennis Club of Montechiarugolo, with the strong support of the region.

Italy is experiencing a boom of tennis, with 10 players within the Top 100 (Lorenzo Musetti’s irruption into the Top 100 through).

Furthermore, for the first time in November, the country will host the ATP Finals in Turin in the week following the Next Gen Finals in Milan.
