Warren gatland announced the group of coaches who will accompany him with the British & Irish Lions on the tour by South Africa with the particularity that it did not include any coach of England.
Scotland’s Head Coach Gregor Townsend will be in charge of training the attack of the British Irish team, while his compatriot and teammate Steve Tandy will take care of the defense.
Robin McBryde of Leinster was chosen to take over the forwards, while Neil Jenkins of Wales returns for his fourth tour as kicking coach.
“I am very happy to have assembled such a high quality team of coaches,” Gatland said. “It is a really strong group and I am excited to see what we can achieve together. I think we will all complement each other well in South Africa.
