Despite having been a totally atypical year, and with more than one difficulty, international rugby remains the same. With the international tournaments reaching their final stages, the EPCR presented the roster from which the best player of this season will come out. The list of 15 players is made up mostly of players from the Top 14 and three members of Leinester.
Another end of the season is approaching and with it comes the stage of individual awards. This Wednesday, the EPCR presented the list of those who will participate in a vote for the MVP of the season, a list made up of 15 players from five teams. These are La Rochelle, Toulouse, Bordeux-Bégels Y Clermont by the Top 14 and Leinester Rugby del Pro 14. The peculiarity of this year is the absence of players from the Premiership, the league that featured the last two winners: Exeter Chiefs ‘Sam Simmonds in 2020 and Saracens’ Alex Goode in 2019.
The eleventh edition of this award is open from today on the official tournament page for fans. Those who participate in this vote will be able to enter a raffle for a ball and shirt signed by the finalists of the Champions Cup. In addition, a list of judges was appointed, who together with the supporters, will choose the MVP of the season. The award will be announced in the run-up to the Champions Cup final, on May 22.
