Gustavo Marcaccio joins the team of Jaume Munar, who last week achieved his first ATP final in Marbella. The Argentine will work hand in hand with Tomeu Salvà.
Munar is 23 years old and is currently ranked 81st in the ATP rankings. In 2021, in addition to reaching the final in Marbella, he reached the quarterfinals in the ATP in Buenos Aires and played three Challenger finals: in Antalya 1 he beat Lorenzo Musetti, one of the sensations of the circuit; in Antalya 2 he fell to his compatriot Taberner and in the Challenger in Marbella (a week before the ATP) he lost to the Italian Gianluca Mager.
Marcaccio was Argentina’s Davis Cup sub-captain and stood out for his work as coach of Juan Mónaco, Guido Pella, Paula Ormaechea, Máximo González and Giovanni Lapenti.
In the next weeks, Marcaccio will accompany Munar in the tournaments in Barcelona (19-25 / 4), Estoril (26 / 4-2 / 5) and Roland Garros (30 / 5-13 / 6).
