Replacement

The operation will take place this afternoon in a hospital in Barcelona. In addition to confirming this news, the Pramac team also announced that there is already a replacement for the seat that will be released by Martín. Following his dismissal in 2020, Tito Rabat will return to the paddock of MotoGP. The Spanish pilot is competing in the World Superbikes.

The Spaniard left the category in 2020 in the Esponsorama team, at the controls of a Ducati. In his final season, he finished with ten points marking a lousy season. However, the team BARNI Racing Team of the World Superbike took over his services. Martín would compete again for the Italian Grand Prix, at Mugello.

Rabat won a World title in 2014, in the category Moto2. The Spaniard was the best of that year beating pilots of the stature of Maverick Viñales, Franco Morbidelli or Johann zarco. As long as Martín is off the track, Rabat will take his place, seeking to show that he is up to the challenge of taking the Ducati to the top.
