However, the final action took place this Sunday, which began in a very controversial way. In the link stage between one of the tests, a very particular accident occurred. Sébastien Ogier had an incident with a tourist crossing the highway. There, the Frenchman had a deplorable attitude, since he did not assist the victim of the crash that was not reported if it had serious consequences.
Following this accident, Ogier was stopped by the police a few meters after the accident. However, his attitude did not change. Sébastien Ogier took the lead in the World Rally Championship after this victory. The Frenchman accumulates 61 points in three dates and has already taken eight units from his pursuer, Thierry Neuville, which totals 53. Elfyn Evans completes the top three of the championship, as she reached 51 points. Kalle Rovanpera, who was leading before this race, fell to fifth place.
