Throughout the last few days they made different videos viral in which cars, like the one in Niki Lauda, accelerated to the maximum, generating the nostalgia of all fans of the motor world.
The Ferrari 312T, driven by Niki Lauda, was one of those who marked an era in Formula 1. This car was one of the most famous, and over six seasons, and with some variations, it was able to win four titles. The car that was used this weekend, and that the French drove Jean alesi, was the 312TB3, from the 1976 season.
In the German Grand Prix, Niki Lauda crashed with this car, causing the historic accident that left him out of two races and that left marks and consequences for life. This year, James hunt was his great rival and together they went down in history as one of the most important rivalries in the history of Formula 1.
In this Sunday’s exhibition race, Jean Alesi was leading, being chased by Marco Werner. Werner had in his hands a Lotus of the year 1977, which led Ronnie Peterson, Bob Evans, Gunnar Nilsson and the historical Mario andretti. There were only three laps to go, when an accident caused the pain of all Formula 1 fans.
The Lotus touched the Ferrari and the latter crashed hard against the wall. The accident did not have serious consequences, but it did cause Alesi to have a puncture and extensive damage to the ailerons. This caused the French to quit. Meanwhile, Werner was suspended and finished in third position. Michael Lyons he was left with the victory.
