The Colombian made a very even first set in which he had in his serve one of his main weapons. As the game progressed, at times very even, it was Basilashvili who tipped the balance for his side, taking advantage of the break point he had in favor in the fifth game.
In the second sleeve, Galán could not retake the level of the first and the Georgian did not grant him chances of any comeback. With three break points out of five he had, Basilashvili was more incisive than his rival to win the match.
