France will play three tests against the Wallabies in July

The French Rugby Federation confirmed the realization of the tour of the Senior Selected in Australia, in the month of July. Those directed by Fabien Galthie they will play three test matches in just 11 days against the Wallabies. For the first test they will not be able to count on those players who reach the final of the Top 14.

The confirmation of the tour to the ocean floor by the President of the FFR, Bernard Laporte, gave a breath of fresh air to the damaged coffers of the Australian Rugby Union. The three games that were scheduled for July 3, 10 and 17, finally would be held on the 7th, 13th and 17th of that month, in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

However, it will not be the most competitive French team that plays the first test. Due to the mandatory quarantine (14 days), required to enter Australia, Head Coach Galthie must previously travel without the players who compete in the Top 14 final. These could only be added for the July 13 match, although with just two days training with the rest of his teammates.

It should be noted that France already knows the fact of playing difficult matches without all their starters. Without going any further, in the decisive duel of the Autumn Nations Cup 2020, he was about to surprise England at Twickenham with an alternative formation, which ended up falling in agony 22 to 19.
