The game scheduled for this Sunday will not be played due to “security concerns” over the demonstrations.

The English Premier League match between the Manchester United and the Liverpool, which was to be played this afternoon, has been postponed following protests at Old Trafford and at the ‘Red Devils’ concentration hotel against the club’s owners.

“After talking to the police, the Premier League, Manchester City Council and the clubs, the game against him Liverpool has been postponed due to security concerns after today’s protests, “said the United it’s a statement.

From now on we will work on finding a new date for the meeting.

“We fully understand the right of our fans to exercise their freedom of expression and to hold a peaceful protest,” added the United. “However, we reject the disruption towards the team, as well as the actions that have put the fans, the workers and the police in danger.”

About 200 fans of the United invaded Old Trafford as a form of protest against the management of the Glazers, the owners of the United, while some 700 people showed up at the ‘Red Devils’ concentration hotel.
