Albert Ramos Viñolas (46 °) Estoril’s ATP 250 champion was established after beating Cameron Norrie (50th) 4-6, 6-3 and 7-6 (3). With this trophy, the 33-year-old Spaniard won his third title on the circuit.
In a match that lasted almost 3 hours, Ramos Viñolas ended up being the winner after battling in the tiebreak and making the difference after the 3-3 equality. Previously in the first set, it was Norrie who had the advantage thanks to the break he obtained to go 5-4 and finish with his serve. There was the only moment of the meeting in which the Briton had the game in his favor.
In the second sleeve Ramos Viñolas took it with relative comfort. Although he had six break point chances, he could only take advantage of two that were more than enough to gain the advantage. In the third, the game was very even and neither took advantage until the definition in the tiebreaker.
With this victory, Ramos Viñolas got his third trophy as a professional on the ATP circuit. The previous ones had been: Bastad in 2016 against Fernando Verdasco and Gstaad 2019 against Cedrik-Marcel Stebe.
