Juan Manuel Leguizamón will play in Major League Rugby. The outermost line of Los Pumas will be a United New York player, team that already has the Argentines Benjamin Bonasso and Joel Miranda.
After the failed prepandemic pass to the Seattle Sunwolves, the MLR team announced the incorporation for the current season of the forward from Santiago who played 87 tests for Los Pumas. Now, at 37, the Argentine continues to expand his career.
“We are proud to announce that Argentine legend Juan Manuel Leguizamón has signed for Rugby United New York for the remainder of the 2021 season. Juan played 87 times for Los Pumas between 2005 and 2019, including four World Cups. He has also represented the London Irish, Stade Français, Lyon and Jaguares. And now it’s made for New York.
