At the 2021 Laureus Awards, Rafael Nadal was announced as Best Athlete of the year 2020. This is the fourth time that La Fiera has been awarded a Laureus Prize, after having obtained this same in 2010, that of Best Promise in 2005 and that of Best Comeback 2013.
