Tadhg furlong who made his debut in Ireland against Wales in a preparation match before the 2015 World Cup, extended his contract with both Ireland and Leinster until the end of the 2021/22 season.
El Pilar has won 49 games with Clover to date and was starter in all three matches of the 2017 British and Irish Lions tour of New Zealand. Last week he was included in this year’s European team’s tour of South Africa.
On the other hand, the front row wore the Leinster jersey 113 times, winning the Champions Cup in 2018 along with three PRO14 titles.
“I am happy to sign for one more year. There have been some tough days lately, but I think the teams we have in both Leinster and Ireland will be able to compete for trophies in the future. I look forward to playing at a packed RDS or Aviva Stadium in the coming months, “said Furlong.
