Los Angeles Lakers power forward Anthony Davis would miss Game 5 of the postseason series against the Phoenix Suns with a groin injury.
Shams Charania, from The Athletic web portal, was the first to report the news.
The fifth game will take place on Tuesday. The series is tied 2-2.
Davis missed a güira with 48.3 seconds remaining in the second quarter Sunday and collapsed to the ground. He then grabbed his groin area as play continued on the other end of the floor, and did not return after halftime.
The strong forward averaged 34 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2 blocks in Games 2 and 3 of the series.
